September 14/08 - In my learning Japanese, I've decided to teach a mini- class of what I've learned. This way the members can learn a bit of Japanese and I can have my practice of what I learned as well. :) I'll teach this mini-class later in the break at 5:00pm, for only 15 minutes.

JAAW joins Operation Anime

June/1/08 - I signed up the club for FUNimations Operation Anime. I thought it would be a neat thing to do in the club. The first meeting of every month we can choose an Anime title to review from their list, and when the DVD arrives we'll watch it, review it, and get to keep the DVD. Every member will then receive a 40% off promotion code to purchase the Anime title we just reviewed from the FUNimation Online Store (ZStore). I hope everyone will want to participate. :)

Room Change in May

Apr/29/08 - I like for JAAW to have a comfortable atmosphere, this means I believe seating should be as comfortable as I can manage as well. The room we're usually in has desks, and many of them, all crowded, and though there hasn't been any complaints about them, meetings haven't been as comfortable as I believe they should. So I'm changing the room this month until all are satisfied. I've requested a room with tables and chairs instead of desks, within Centennial Building. Hopefully this room will be able to accomodate us. :) Thank you for your patience~!

JAAWathon 2008 set for Saturday, September 13 2008!

Apr/9/08 - Bulman unfortunately was booked throughout August, so JAAWathon 2008 is set to happen on September 13th. Time to plan! :D

JAAWathon 2008 to be held in August!

Mar/6/08 - Usually JAAWathon is held in the spring (in March or April). However due to KeyCon's 4-day convention, the Bulman Centre needed for University Registration, a lack of volunteers, and my work with Ai-Kon 2008 this year, I have pushed back JAAWathon 2008 to be held in late August (hopefully, with date still TBA). Its success in August will be determined by the amount of volunteers I acquire to help with its organization. Please email me with questions, concerns and if you wish to volunteer this year.
